In September we are opening new language classes:
- Swahili beginners and intermediate: 3 classes
- Lingala for beginners
- Amharic (if there are 3 candidates)
- Wolof (if there are 3 candidates)

Library Summer break

We inform our dear readers that the Library of the African Information Centre will be closed to the public for Summer break from Tuesday 27 June 6 p.m.
Please return your borrows in time and avoid unnecessary fines.
Library operations will resume on Tuesday 26 September 2017 at 2 p.m.

VíceMarket of non-governmental organizations is a unique one-day event, which has been growing in size and scope since its inception in 2000. NGOs active in education, volunteering, human rights, environmental and other issues are given an opportunity to present their activities to broad public, establish new partnerships, address potential sponsors and volunteers, and even gain valuable know-how needed for successful NGO-management.

As a response to the attitude of rejection towards migrants of African origin that is growing in the Czech society, mainly due to ingrained prejudice and insufficient close knowledge of their culture, Humanitas Afrika is offering 10 workshops to primary schools students for school years 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 in Prague.
