We inform our dear readers that the Library of the African Information Centre will be closed to the public for Summer break from Tuesday 27 June 6 p.m.

Please return your borrows in time and avoid unnecessary fines.

Library operations will resume on Tuesday 26 September 2017 at 2 p.m.

Market of non-governmental organizations is a unique one-day event, which has been growing in size and scope since its inception in 2000. NGOs active in education, volunteering, human rights, environmental and other issues are given an opportunity to present their activities to broad public, establish new partnerships, address potential sponsors and volunteers, and even gain valuable know-how needed for successful NGO-management.

As a response to the attitude of rejection towards migrants of African origin that is growing in the Czech society, mainly due to ingrained prejudice and insufficient close knowledge of their culture, Humanitas Afrika is offering 10 workshops to primary schools students for school years 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 in Prague.

Head of Humanitas Afrika, Afrikatu Kofi Nkrumah, travelled to Ghana recently to present the first ever AFRICAN LEADERSHIP AND EXCELLENCE AWARD to the President of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, at the Flagstaff House in Accra, the seat of Ghana’s government.

Jennifer Ofori Completes University in 2016

Jennifer Ofori was born on the 10th of October 1990. She had her basic school education at Obom RC, the same village where Humanitas Afrika operates from in Ghana. In 2007, she got admission to Accra High Senior High School to study Business for her Senior High School education. She was admitted unto Humanitas Afrika’s program because she had no one to fully finance her education at this stage.
