18:00 - Film Evening screening "A Soldier's Story" (1984) featuring Denzel Washington (in English)
19:45 - Dinner Night Buffet of delicious African cooking presented by Kafe Afrika.
On Friday 28th February
18:00 – “African American Visual Art and Culture”: a presentation by visiting Professor Paul Von Blum (USA)
20:00 - A short stand-up comedy by Ahmed Tofik Jemal (Ethiopia)
21:00 - "This time for Africa" - Music and Dance party - DJs Selecta Woodie (Germany) and Darulah (Botswana) backed by the Deep T. Soundsystem
Moderator: Juwana Jenkins, African American gospel singer and Fulbright scholar
Please Note: - Film screening and presentation in English.
All events are free, except the dinner and music night which cost a symbolic fee to support the work of Humanitas Afrika.
